The tower of the evangelical church of St. Martin Luther – a unique viewpoint in Świnoujście. The tower is the only remaining part of the evangelical church of St. Martin Luther, built in 1905. The temple, erected in the neo-Gothic style, was once an important element of the city's landscape. Unfortunately, after World War II, the church suffered severe damage and gradual devastation. In 1962, a decision was made to demolish it, but the tower itself was preserved because it served an important navigational function – it was marked on sea maps as a landmark for ships.
Today, the tower is one of the more interesting tourist attractions in Świnoujście. Inside, there is a cozy, two-level café that invites visitors to relax with aromatic coffee. At the top of the tower, there is a viewing terrace accessible by 222 steps. From the terrace, there is a breathtaking panorama of the city, port, and the surrounding islands and forests. This unique place combines history, architecture, and the beauty of coastal views, making it worth visiting during a stay in Świnoujście. The tower is located at the intersection of Piłsudski and Paderewski streets – easily reachable during a walk through the city center.
